Script Care Pharmacy in Burnaby, BC, is hiring a Pharmacist for the Residential Care division. You will dispense medications, provide clinical counselling, and supervise staff in continuing care facilities.

A BC Pharmacist licence in good standing is required, plus injection certification and strong communication skills. The role includes on-call rotation, staying current with industry trends, and participating in quality assurance.

Qualifications

• BC Pharmacist licence in good standing with BC College of Pharmacists.
• Minimum 1 year pharmacist experience; long-term care or specialty pharmacy is a plus.
• Injection certification required.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software, preferably Kroll.
• Completion of OAT-CAMPP or P-OAT Training.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical services to patients in continuing care facilities.
• Assist in dispensing and checking prescriptions.
• Supervise pharmacy assistants and registered technicians.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation for contracted homes.
• Provide medical information and counselling to patients, care providers, and other professionals.
