Job summary

Sinai Health in Toronto is seeking a Pharmacist to support our Pharmacy department. The role focuses on medication distribution, drug information, and patient education within a traditional dispensing system.

The Pharmacist will interact with an interprofessional team and patients to determine optimal treatment and implement standards-based interventions. Temporary full-time position up to four months.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy.
• Part A license to practice with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Previous hospital setting experience is required.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Meditech experience is an asset.
• CSHP membership is preferred.
• Satisfactory job performance and attendance history required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication distribution and drug information to patients and staff.
• Educate patients and staff on therapy and safety.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to determine the best treatment.
• Implement interventions in line with practice standards.
