You will provide a full range of clinical and distributive services to inpatients and outpatients within a computerized environment, with expertise in psychiatry and addictions to ensure safe and effective medication management. You will collaborate with other pharmacy team members and healthcare providers, evaluate medication orders, develop care plans, resolve drug therapy problems, and support medication reconciliation and accurate dispensing. Your role also includes participating in risk management, patient safety, education, research, and mentoring students and interns. You will work in a diverse, compliant workplace.
Qualifications include a B.Sc. in Pharmacy, registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, and two years of relevant experience. Additional assets include experience in mental health settings, postgraduate degrees, and knowledge of pharmacy systems. Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations are essential. Bilingualism and proficiency in a second language are assets.
