Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a Pharmacist to manage the Pharmacy operations while on duty, provide consultations to customers and health care providers, dispense medications, and support the dispensary.

You will ensure privacy, comply with regulations, counsel on prescriptions and OTC products, maintain records, coordinate with other health professionals, and oversee workflow and inventory to support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy.
• Provide counselling on prescriptions and OTC products; ensure privacy and consent management.
• Dispense medications accurately and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Communicate with health care professionals to provide patient care.
• Maintain records per legislation, standards and policies.
• Review inventory, stock levels and supplier orders; manage workflows.
