Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a qualified pharmacist to manage the Pharmacy operations on duty, providing consultations to customers and healthcare providers, and dispensing medications with a focus on safety and privacy.

You will work within regulatory requirements, maintain records, and support expanded scope professional services while communicating with the care circle to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operations of the Pharmacy while on duty, including providing consultation to customers and health care providers.
• Dispense medications and ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions.
• Assist in maintaining the dispensary and inventory management.
• Provide counselling on prescriptions and products, including expanded scope services.
• Communicate with other health care professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain records in accordance with legislation and policy.
• Ensure privacy requirements are met and maintain confidentiality.
