The role emphasizes full-scope professional services, accuracy, privacy and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will lead a team, ensure proper documentation, and collaborate with other health care professionals to support patient care and safety.

Qualificações

• Provide counselling on prescriptions, over the counter/behind the counter products
• Practice within federal/provincial regulatory requirements
• Maintain privacy requirements and consent management
• Dispense medications and ensure accuracy of prescriptions
• Collaborate with health care professionals to support patient care
• Complete mandatory training and continuing education as needed

Responsabilidades

• Manage pharmacy operations during shifts and customer service
• Counsel customers on prescriptions and health products
• Maintain records and comply with legislation, standards and policy
• Review stock and perform inventory control for medications
• Communicate with health care providers to coordinate care
• Ensure privacy and confidentiality of patient information
• Follow safety and health procedures in the workplace
