Job summary

Acute Care Alberta is seeking a Pharmacist I to lead configuration decisions for medication data systems (EPIC, WMS) and to support informatics initiatives across Alberta. The SMORE will collaborate with clinical and technical partners, manage workload, and help balance multi-site priorities.

Key qualifications include a BSc in Pharmacy, ACP registration, 5+ years hospital pharmacy experience, and strong communication and change-management skills. Remote work within Alberta is allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.
• Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
• Minimum five (5) years recent hospital pharmacy experience.
• Experience in pharmacy clinical information support as SMORE or related roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead decisions on configuring technology related to medication data (EPIC and WMS).
• Serve as liaison between Pharmacy Services and provincial teams.
• Support change management for informatics initiatives and system decisions.
