Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Part-Time Pharmacist to join Medical Pharmacy in Toronto, Ontario. Shifts: Tuesday & Thursday - 9:00am-6:00pm. Responsibilities include medication reviews, vaccines, and collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Licensure with the Ontario College of Pharmacists and injection certification are required. Compensation listed is a starting point and will be determined by experience, with competitive wages and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Injection certification is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
• Administer vaccines and immunizations.
• Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions.
• Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage.
• Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned.
