Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Pharmacist to join Janzen's Pharmacy - The Link On Lillie St. in Thunder Bay, ON. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered clinical services, including medication reviews, vaccines, and comprehensive care plans.

Compensation listed is a starting point and will be determined by experience. Relocation support, a sign-on bonus, and clinical service revenue bonuses are available to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Injection certification is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
• Administer vaccines and immunizations.
• Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions.
• Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage.
• Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned.
