Save-On-Foods in Penticton, BC is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join our team at 161 – 2111 Main Street. The position offers 32 to 40 hours per week with an hourly wage of $61.00–$64.00 in a community-focused retail setting.

The successful candidate must be a licensed Pharmacist in Canada and will perform prescription verification, dispensing, vaccine handling, and patient counseling while ensuring safe and compliant pharmaceutical care.

We have a full-time pharmacist position (32 to 40 hours per week) available in our Penticton, British Columbia location at #161 – 2111 Main Street, Penticton, BC Canada V2A 6W6. The hourly wage is $61.00 - $64.00.

Your duties will include:

• Checking prescriptions for proper dosage


• Ensuring proper preparation, packaging, distribution and storage of vaccines, serums, biologicals and other drugs and pharmaceuticals


• Dispensing prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or to other health care professionals and advise them on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage


• Advising customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication


• Maintaining medication profiles of customers including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs


• Compounding prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring and mixing the quantities of drugs and other ingredients required and filling appropriate containers with correct quantity

The successful candidate must be a licensed Pharmacist in Canada.
