Job summary

Prime Health Ltd. in Maple Ridge, BC, is seeking an experienced production supervisor to oversee daily operations in a chemical and pharmaceutical environment. You will supervise, coordinate and schedule activities of workers to meet production targets while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience. You will collaborate with multiple departments and implement process improvements to boost productivity and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3 years to less than 5 years of experience.
• Experience supervising, coordinating and scheduling workers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document potential environmental and safety problems.
• Investigate reported potential environmental and safety problems.
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
• Establish work schedules.
• Prepare production and other reports.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Provide information for maintenance plans to ensure that maintenance and production objectives are met.
• Co-ordinate work activities with other departments.
• Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
• Oversee safety of operations.
• Set up machines and equipment.
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
