Job summary

Septodont in Cambridge, Ontario seeks a Component Preparation Operator to support inspection, labeling and packaging of filled products. You will prepare glass components and meet SOPs, under the supervision of the Production Supervisor.

The role operates on a weekend day shift (Saturday-Sunday 6am-6pm; Fri-Mon 6am-2pm) with a shift premium. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1 year in manufacturing, and a readiness to work in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• College certification/diploma or equivalent is an asset.
• Minimum 1 year related manufacturing experience.
• Pharmaceutical, food or cosmetic industry experience is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work any shift in a 24/7 environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Follow inspection, labeling, packaging and component preparation SOPs.
• Complete Batch Records and log books.
• Report equipment problems to Lead Hand and Supervisor.
• Inspect, label and package filled cartridges according to SOP.
• Perform and record line clearance and cleaning.
• Maintain Inspection Certification.
• Perform fill volume and seal integrity testing.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Follow GMP and regulatory requirements and ensure quality standards.
• Observe and support all safety guidelines and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as required.
