We are seeking a mission-driven, passionate, self-starting, and creative Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on supporting the onboarding and activities of a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) for the Canada and LATAM regions, specifically for ASPIRE-related initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP, system integrations, pharmaceutical operations, and commercial systems. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring successful implementation and support of systems and processes.
Responsibilities
As a Business Systems Analyst focused on ASPIRE for Canada and LATAM, you will:
- Onboarding Support: Facilitate the onboarding process for a BSA to support the Canada and LATAM regions, ensuring they have the necessary resources and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Requirements Gathering: Partner with internal stakeholders in Canada and LATAM to identify, analyze, and document business requirements for ASPIRE-related activities. Define scope, objectives, and feasibility analysis. Create comprehensive Product Requirement Documents and detailed Product Roadmaps.
- SAP Expertise: Utilize your deep understanding of SAP to support system integrations, data flows, and process improvements related to ASPIRE.
- System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional IT organizations to streamline solution implementations, maintain records of system integrations, changes, and incidents, ensuring smooth data flow between SAP and other commercial systems.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare robust technical reports, create diagrams, workflow maps, and other visuals to facilitate enhanced system understanding.
- Prototyping: Produce detailed wireframes and mockups using visualization tools for prototyping solutions related to ASPIRE.
- Data Management: Work closely with Data Management & Architecture teams to maintain awareness of accessibility, compliance, and security policies and guidelines, particularly for the Canada and LATAM regions.
- Project Management: Lead portions of large tasks or projects, building and maintaining project management skills, ensuring timely delivery of ASPIRE-related initiatives.
- Testing and QA: Develop and execute test plans, lead testing activities such as user acceptance, performance, security, and usability testing for system changes and updates related to ASPIRE.
- Communication: Provide timely dissemination of communications for system changes, determine support and resource requirements associated with each change, and ensure stakeholders in Canada and LATAM are informed.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree in Business or Science is preferred.
Experience
- Overall 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Must have experience working with SAP and system integrations.
- Must have experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with commercial systems is highly preferred.
- Experience working in end-to-end software development lifecycle.
- Experience with marketing/finance data modeling and analytics is preferred.
Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of pharmaceutical operations, specifically in the Canada and LATAM regions, and ASPIRE-related activities.
Tools: Hands-on expertise with Jira, Confluence, Trello, Lucid Chart, and Google Suite.
Communication: Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills. Strong business acumen of US and international Commercial Markets in the Pharma industry, with well-honed influencing skills.
Project Management: Demonstrated success in handling initiatives of high complexity, high profile, and large-scale programs.
Personal Attributes: Self-motivated and team-oriented, able to work both autonomously and effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team. Accountable to meet project deadlines.
Data: Must have a solid understanding of data and hands-on experience with data-related initiatives.
Cloud: Understanding and experience in AWS cloud data storage and processing is preferred.
Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences in Canada and LATAM regions.
