Job summary

Pet Valu in Kamloops, BC is hiring a Keyholder to support daily store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will handle cashier duties, stock, and merchandising while upholding safety and company standards.

This role requires at least 2 years in retail, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays. A valid driver's license may be required and reliable transportation is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Working knowledge of POS system.
• Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to/from the store; a valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales.
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and other paperwork.
• Stocking items into the sales floor stock area (items up to 50 lbs).
• Store maintenance: sweeping, dusting, etc.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and stocking shelves.
• Open and close the store following procedures.
• Assign daily goals and tasks when management is absent.
• Other duties as required.
