Job summary

Pet Valu in Trail, BC, is seeking a Keyholder to support daily store operations and provide excellent customer service. You will cashier, assist customers, process orders, and help keep shelves stocked while maintaining safety and company standards.

With at least 2 years in retail or customer service and a friendly, reliable presence, you will contribute to community pet events and daily tasks. The role offers staff discounts, training, and a competitive hourly wage starting from $18.60.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Working knowledge of POS system.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales.
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and other miscellaneous paperwork.
• Placing small items into stock in the sales area of the store.
• Sweeping, dusting and other general store maintenance functions.
• Assist in unloading delivery vehicles and stocking items.
• Open and close the store following company procedures.
• Assign daily goals and tasks when Store Manager is unavailable.
• Other duties as required.
