Job summary

Pet Valu is hiring a part-time Keyholder in Quesnel, BC. The role supports store operations, assists customers, and helps maintain product presentation and inventory. The position emphasizes safety, compassion, expertise and efficiency aligned with the company’s beliefs.

The Keyholder will participate in daily cash handling, assist in merchandising, and help unload deliveries while ensuring excellent customer service and community engagement at the local store.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Working knowledge of POS system.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
• Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from the store.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales.
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and other miscellaneous paperwork.
• Stocking items (up to 50 lbs) in sales area.
• Store maintenance: sweeping and dusting.
• Open and close the store following procedures.
