Job summary

Pet Valu in Sydney, Nova Scotia is seeking a Keyholder to support daily store operations, assist customers, process transactions, and help maintain a welcoming shopping environment.

You will stock shelves, unload deliveries, open/close the store, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Requires 2+ years in retail or customer service and a friendly, reliable team player.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Working knowledge of POS system.
• Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales.
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and other paperwork.
• Stocking and placing items in the sales area.
• Store maintenance such as sweeping and dusting.
• Unloading deliveries and stocking pet food and supplies.
• Open and close the store following procedures.
• Support daily goals and tasks as assigned by leadership.
• Other duties as required.
