Job summary

Pet Valu in New Minas, Nova Scotia is seeking a reliable Keyholder to support daily store operations and customer service excellence. You will assist with cashier duties, stock replenishment, banking and general store maintenance to ensure a welcoming shopping environment for pets and their families.

Requirements include at least 2 years in retail or customer service, a friendly personality, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in retail or customer service.
• Working knowledge of POS system.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales.
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and paperwork.
• Placing small items into stock in the sales area.
• Sweeping, dusting and general store maintenance functions.
• Assist in unloading delivery vehicles and stocking items.
• Open and close the store following procedures.
