Job summary

Premium Retail Services (Canada) is seeking a Pet Ambassador for a one-off in-store event in Kamloops on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The role runs 9 hours total, including training and a pre-event team call.

You'll represent a major pet brand, earn potential extra $200 via photo contest, and join a friendly team with ongoing training. Must be 18+, able to lift up to 40 lbs, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Be a pet enthusiast who cares about pets, pet health, and pet nutrition.
• Access to reliable transportation to get to and from multiple stores in your area.
• Experience working with pets (preferred, not required).
• RVT, AHT, BSc, or MSc in the pet field (preferred, not required).
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Tidy and face client's products on shelves and ensure POS materials are set up.
• Build and maintain relationships with store associates, store management, and pet parents.
• Provide store associates with pet health, nutrition, and product knowledge to help increase recommendations and sales.
• Build brand awareness and affinity by engaging with pet parents and their pets in-store and at events.
• Delight customers by sharing pet health and nutrition information and making personalized product recommendations.
• Set up demos/displays as required.
• Maintain and leverage client's provided material to engage associates and pet parents.
• Support recommendations driving special projects as required.
