Job summary

At S&R Seniors Living, a Full-time Personal Support Worker (PSW) is sought to join our Clinical department. You will assist residents with daily living activities and provide companionship to support their physical and emotional well‑being.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and contributing to a positive home-like environment for our residents, with opportunities to engage in company events and ongoing employee support.

Qualifications

• Certification as PSW or HCA is required.
• VSS must be completed within the past 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship to residents, ensuring emotional well‑being.
• Complete Point‑of‑Care tasks for each resident.
• Keep resident areas clean and clutter‑free.
• Communicate resident updates to the care team.
• Support team during themed days and events.
• Assist residents during mealtimes and provide support as needed.
• Support the team as required.

• Assisted your Residents with activities of daily living
• Spending time and providing companionship to the Residents
• Completing your Point-of-Care tasks specific to each Resident you are supporting
• Helping keeping the Resident’s area clean and clutter free
• Communicating a Resident update to your care team
• Supporting Team Members in the home during a themed day
• Help a Resident come down during mealtime and provide them any support needed through the meal
• And supported your team as needed.
