Belleville General Hospital (BGH) sits on the shore of the stunning Bay of Quinte. The City of Belleville features a mix of small‑town charm and big‑city amenities. Belleville General Hospital is the largest of Quinte Health’s hospitals, with two medicine units, critical care (ICU), a lively emergency department, a wide range of surgical and diagnostic services, a busy maternal child unit, a children’s treatment centre, inpatient and outpatient stroke and rehabilitation care, inpatient and outpatient mental health services, and the regional Dr. Douglas A. MacIntosh Cancer Clinic. BGH works closely with the other three Quinte Health hospital teams, as well as regional and provincial health centres to serve our communities.
