Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.

The opportunity

We are currently hiring Part-Time Personal Support Workers (PSWs) / Health Care Aides for the Niagara Region (Welland, Port Colborne).

Starting wage: $22.52/hour (includes $3.00/hr Ontario wage enhancement)

Includes: Paid travel time and mileage

REQUIRED: Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable vehicle

Key Responsibilities

Support clients with non-medical daily living activities based on their care plans:

Personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)

Meal preparation and feeding

Assistance with rising/retiring

Incontinence care (with training)

Range of motion exercises

Lifts and transfers (with training)

Deliver services in a respectful, dignified, and professional manner

Maintain client confidentiality, health, and safety

Availability to work varied shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Experience working with people with disabilities or older adults is an asset

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Physical Demands Self-Assessment required upon hire

Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation is required
