Shift Types: Community Visits and Private Clients

Preferred Candidates:

• Must have either Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate or Nursing students, or International Educated Nurses or Health Care Aid
• Previous hands-on experience providing personal care to clients is preferred.
• Must have a recent Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate is considered an asset.

As A PSW You Will:

• Assist individuals with daily living such as personal care and hygiene (i.e., Toileting, bathing, feeding, etc.), light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, nutrition, shifts reports, and creating activity plans.
• Maintain complete and confidential information for each individual supported.
• Provide social/emotional support to clients and their families, able to provide care in a kind and understanding manner to seniors.
• Accompany clients and assist them with walking, exercise, and mobility.
