Job summary

Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker to assist residents on site. You will provide essential personal care, monitor vital signs, assist with meals and mobility, and help maintain clean, safe living spaces.

The role requires PSW certification, First Aid and CPR, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach. On-site work with staff accommodation options and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Must have PSW certificate and be in good standing.
• Experience providing personal care in nursing or home care is preferred.
• Ability to work on site in a nursing home environment.

Responsibilities

• Supply and empty bed pans
• Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse
• Serve meal trays and feed patients
• Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
• Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
• Bathe, dress and groom patients
• Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
• Collect specimens
• Administer first aid in emergency situations
