Job summary

Aide Chez Soi Royaume du Saguenay, Coopérative de solidarité seeks a dependable personal support worker to provide home care and visiting care services. You will work in clients' homes, assisting with daily living activities, meals, and personal care while ensuring comfort and safety.

Travel to various locations is required, and a valid driver’s license with own transportation is often necessary. The role requires 1–2 years experience and relevant certifications in PSW, CPR, and first aid.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant home care experience preferred.
• On the road with frequent travel to client homes is required.
• Certificates and licenses listed in Credentials must be current.

Responsibilities

• Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
• Provide personal care and companionship to clients.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding.
• Make beds and maintain patients' rooms.
• Administer medications under supervision as directed.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and daily living activities.
• Provide light housekeeping and shopping for groceries.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers as needed.
