North Bay Regional Health Centre is seeking candidates for the Inpatient Medicine unit (Pod C3/D3) to provide care with a focus on the elderly. The role requires a PSW or Health Care Aide background, BLS certification, and strong communication within a health-team setting.
Applicants must have an OSSD or equivalent and, if possible, a GPA certificate. The hospital emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing education in a CUPE 139 environment.

Inpatient Medicine is located on the top floor of the hospital (3rd floor) – Pods C and D. These units are often referred to as Pod C3 and D3. Most patients on this unit are admitted from the Emergency Department while others are transferred from the Critical Care Unit or Surgical Unit. Patients are admitted to Inpatient Medicine for treatment and/or monitoring of a medical condition and can expect a stay of 1 – 5 days.
