North Bay Regional Health Centre is recruiting for an Inpatient Medicine nurse on the top floor of the hospital. Most patients arrive from the Emergency Department or other units, with stays typically 1–5 days.
The role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and high standards of patient care in an acute setting. The successful candidate will have Ontario nursing registration, recent BLS, and expertise in medication administration and IV care.

Inpatient Medicine is located on the top floor of the hospital (3rd floor) – Pods C and D. These units are often referred to as Pod C3 and D3. Most patients on this unit are admitted from the Emergency Department while others are transferred from the Critical Care Unit or Surgical Unit. Patients are admitted to Inpatient Medicine for treatment and/or monitoring of a medical condition and can expect a stay of 1 – 5 days.
