Job summary

Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care in Toronto is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) for casual part-time shifts. The PSW will provide personal care to assist residents with daily activities, supporting physical, social and emotional needs in a safe, resident-centered environment.

CPR certification and Ontario PSW training are required, with HSCPOA registration preferred and Chinese language ability a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario.
• Experience in long term care is an asset.
• Registration with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) preferred.
• Ability to speak and converse in Chinese is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to assist clients in daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Support clients' physical, social and emotional needs in a safe, resident-centered manner.
