Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care in Mississauga is seeking a Part-Time Day Shift Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide compassionate personal care to residents. The role emphasizes independence and teamwork within a multicultural setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario, or equivalent.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Registration with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) preferred.
• Resident-centred care focus with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem-solve and time manage.
• Ability to work independently as well as be a positive team player.
• GPA/U-First/CPI training an asset.
• Chinese language ability an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to assist clients with daily activities and hygiene.
• Support clients' physical, social and emotional needs in a safe, resident-centred manner.
• Maintain computer literacy for care plans (Point Click Care) and data entry.
• Follow government standards and resident rights; contribute to care planning.

The Personal Support Worker (PSW) will provide personal care to assist clients in their daily activities and personal hygiene.
