Yee Hong is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide compassionate personal care and assist residents with daily activities at our Ontario campuses. The role emphasizes safety, dignity, and a resident-centred approach.
You will work with a diverse team, supporting physical, social, and emotional well-being. CPR certification is required, PSW education in Ontario is expected, and assets include familiarity with electronic health records and English/Chinese communication.
The Personal Support Worker (PSW) will provide personal care to assist clients in their daily activities and personal hygiene. The PSW will support the clients' physical, social and emotional needs in a safe manner, in accordance with the organization's resident-centred approach, complying with relevant government standards, residents' rights and the organizations mission and philosophy.
Working Conditions: Considerable standing, walking, lifting and bending Exposure to all resident care elements through regular resident contact. Ability to work shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and short shifts. May be required to work an alternate shift(s) to meet operational needs (e.g., emergency, training, accommodation, etc.) as per scheduling practices. Salary Range: $25.41 - $27.62.
