Job summary

Qualicare Whitby is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our homecare team. You will provide essential in-home personal care, hygiene assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and help with mobility under the Care Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Must have PSW certificate or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willing to obtain.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Ability to travel around the service area.

Job Summary

The Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student).


• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain

• Ability to travel around location territory


• Access to Internet/mobile phone


• Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
