Job summary

Qualicare Homecare is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs)/Caregivers to join our Mississauga team. You will deliver personal care and support to clients in their homes under supervision, ensuring comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and medication reminders. Travel within the location may be required; access to internet/phone is expected to coordinate care plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a PSW certificate or equivalent, with relevant caregiving training.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required.
• TB skin test or chest X-ray within accepted guidelines.
• Ability to travel around the designated location territory.
• Access to Internet and mobile phone for communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Accompany clients on outings and run errands.
• Assist with shopping and medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and follow care plans.
• Assist with ambulation and transportation as needed.
• Document care activities and update charts.
