Join Our Compassionate Team at IHAL! In-Home Assisted Living Inc. (IHAL) is seeking dedicated, caring, and reliable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) and Caregivers to support our clients in the comfort of their homes. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality, client-centred care, we would love to hear from you.
Location: Etobicoke, ON (patient homes). Shift: days, afternoons, evenings, overnight.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support mobility, walking, and safe transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair)
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Prepare and serve meals based on client preferences and dietary needs
- Provide medication reminders and help monitor daily routines
- Complete daily care reports and communicate observations to the Case Manager or healthcare team
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and provide reassurance
- Promote comfort, dignity, independence, and well-being
- PSW Certificate required
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving or PSW experience
- Training in Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA) or Non-Violent Crisis Prevention preferred
- CPR/First Aid Certification required
- Ability to use a mobile phone for documentation and time tracking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Second language is an asset
