Bayshore is seeking two (2) highly skilled and compassionate Casual Personal Caregiver to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our clients, while ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including but not limited to cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household management
  • Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events
  • Administer personal care services in accordance with the care plan directives
  • Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients to the highest possible standard
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, tailored to meet their specific needs
  • Perform specialized procedures for clients where training has been provided while demonstrating current competency
  • Observe and document client conditions in line with company standards; promptly report any unusual events or changes in client condition to the Supervisor or Office
  • Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices

Required Shift - Casual Employment

  • Open Availability: 7 days a week from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
  • Additional shifts are available from pickup based on client needs and caregiver availability
  • Location: Regina, Saskatchewan

Requirements

  • Comfortable administering suppositories safely and effectively: rectal and other applicable routes
  • TLR Certificate (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to safely lift and transfer individuals, utilizing proper body mechanics and assistive devices as needed
  • Completion of formal, accredited caregiver training program and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of the principles of caregiving as well as well as customer service
  • Able to communicate in spoken and written English; French proficiency will be deemed an asset
  • Provide high-quality care services to clients with current knowledge of practices for community care
  • Physically assist clients with movement and/or repositioning; able to lift 23 kgs., squat, bend, stand and reach
  • Driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Able to produce a clear Criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check
