Job summary

SE Health is hiring Personal Support Workers (PSW) for community care shifts in Port Hope and Cobourg area. This full- and part-time role offers opportunities in day and evening shifts with travel between clients.

Eligible candidates receive a $500 sign-on bonus, mileage reimbursement, travel time coverage, and comprehensive benefits. SE Health is a not-for-profit social enterprise with a strong focus on seniors' health.

• RN or RPN licensure considered.

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB and Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aidli>
• Availability to work days OR evenings and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
