Job summary

SE Health in Cobourg-Port Hope area is hiring for full-time and part-time Personal Support Workers to provide community care. We cover mileage and travel time, and offer a $500 sign-on bonus plus strong benefits and staff support.

Requirements include valid PSW or RN/RPN credentials, immunization, VSC, CPR/First Aid, and availability for days or evenings with weekend rotation. Company supports growth and travel between clients.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB and Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to workdays OR evenings and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
