Ideal candidates hold a Personal Support Worker diploma, have excellent English communication, and a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle. Travel and field-based work are required in home care settings.

Work Schedule Requirements

• Must be available to work 40 hours per week (80 hours biweekly) or 35 hours per week (70 hours biweekly).
• Must be able to work the split position availability: 6:00 AM to11AM and 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM or 7:00 AM to12PM and 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Must be able to work the straight position availability: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Education

• Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent (evidence required)

Attributes

• Excellent communication skill with fluency in written and spoken English
• French proficiency required for positions located within Quebec or where French language is a service requirement
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.

Successful candidates who are offered a position will be required to provide:

• 2 supervisory references,
• A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
• Proof of being negative for TB.
