Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking passionate and caring Personal Support Workers to join our exceptional team. This full-time position serves clients in Grand Bend, Port Franks, Thedford, Forest, Arkona and surrounding areas with guaranteed hours and scheduled visits from early morning to evening.

Successful candidates will hold a Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent, be fluent in English, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• PSW diploma or equivalent with evidence
• Fluent English; French is a plus in some regions
• Must meet job-specific requirements (as per Bayshore)

Responsibilities

• Provide personal support and in-home care to clients in Grand Bend, Port Franks, Thedford, Forest, Arkona and surrounding areas.
• Maintain client comfort and safety during scheduled care visits.
• Document care activities using mobile devices provided by Bayshore.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Area of Work: Successful candidates will provide services to clients in Grand Bend, Port Franks, Thedford, Forest, Arkona, and surrounding areas.

Availability: Successful candidates must be available to work from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. This is a guaranteed hours position. This position is full-time with a guarantee of 60 hours bi-weekly. There is a 4 week ramp up period from date of hire. More details can be given at time of interview. Education: Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent (evidence required)

Excellent communication skill with fluency in written and spoken English French proficiency required for positions located within Quebec or where French language is a service requirement Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.

Successful candidates who are offered a position will be required to provide: 2 supervisory references, A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening Proof of being negative for TB.
