Job summary

SE Health is hiring part-time Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community Care in Alliston, Tottenham, Bradford and Newmarket, with day, evening and night shifts. Travel between client locations is required and mileage is covered.

Qualifications

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW).
• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily.
• Willing to drive to Bradford, Tottenham, Alliston.
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus.
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC).
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid.
• Availability to work days 7am-3pm, evenings 2pm-10pm, nights 11pm-7am and every other weekend.
• Physically demanding position with lifting up to 55 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support to clients.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.
• Maintain client comfort, safety, and wellbeing during visits.
• Document care provided and report changes to supervisors.

• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
