Job summary

SE Health is hiring Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community care shifts in Ajax, Ontario. Positions available full-time and part-time days/evenings, with mileage and travel time covered.

A supportive team and comprehensive benefits are emphasized as part of SE Health’s mission to improve seniors’ health and well-being. Applicants should hold a PSW certificate or be RN/RPN-registered, nursing students with clinical placements, or developmental worker diploma credentials.

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB and Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to work days OR evenings and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
