SE Health is hiring Full-Time Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community Care in Harrow, Essex, Amherstburg and surrounding areas. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered, with comprehensive benefits and a supportive team. ROS funding up to $10,000 for eligible PSW graduates is available through Health Force Ontario.

Qualifications

• Valid PSW certificate required.
• RN or RPN qualification accepted.
• Nursing students with 2 clinical placements eligible.
• Developmental Support Worker Diploma accepted.
• Foreign-trained healthcare professionals (nurse) considered.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle for daily work.
• Meet immunization requirements and provide a vulnerable sector check.
• Current CPR level C certification is required.
• Available for day shifts (7am–3pm) and every other weekend.
• Position is physically demanding with lift up to 55 pounds.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus and Covid
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate
• Availability to work day (7am-3pm) and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
