Job summary

Morison Insurance Brokers Inc. is seeking a Personal Lines Underwriter in St. Catharines, ON. The role supports Client Account Managers by handling underwriting-related tasks within our broker management system and company portals.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of Personal Lines experience and knowledge of underwriting rules. Willingness to obtain a RIBO license and familiarity with Applied Epic and Compu-Quote is an asset.

Qualifications

• 2 years Personal Lines insurance education and/or underwriting experience.
• Willing to obtain RIBO License.
• Experience using Applied Epic and Compu-Quote is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Upload insurance applications on company portals.
• Submit Letters of Authorization for processing.
• Process policy changes on portals.
• Check new business and changes for accuracy.
• Work from a queue in our broker management system.
• Process manual renewals and non-download invoices.
• Follow up on expiry reports for renewals.
• Make underwriting follow-up calls as required.
• Move policies within broker system and inactivate client accounts.
