Job summary

Johnston Meier Insurance Agencies Group is seeking an Auto & Personal Lines Advisor for our Downtown Prince George office to assist with an existing book of business and help new clients obtain coverage across a wide range of insurance products.

Candidates should have a Level 2 Insurance License (or Level 1 and willing to upgrade) and at least one year of insurance office experience, with strong communication and organizational skills for interactions with underwriters, customers, and team

Qualifications

• Level 2 Insurance License (or Level 1 General Insurance License and willing to be trained and achieve a Level 2 General Insurance License)
• One-year insurance office experience
• Strong communication with underwriters, customers and team members
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service
• Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
• Company Portal knowledge is an asset
• Computer skills including Word and Excel
• Competitive salaries are evaluated based on education, skill set, license level, experience and hours worked

Responsibilities

• Provide new quotes on all Personal Lines types of business
• Provide renewal terms and optional coverage
• Provide excellent customer service to our clients
• Cover ICBC Autoplan and other lines as required
• Offer additional products to provide Complete Customer Portfolios
• Keep detailed notes on our Computer System at all times (Paperless Environment)
• Update evaluators when necessary
• Keep abeyances updated and current
• Accounts Receivable

Johnston Meier Insurance has an exciting position available for an Auto & Personal Lines Advisor, at our Downtown office in Prince George, to assist with our existing book of business. This role requires the candidate to coordinate changes to existing client policies and help new clients obtain coverage across a wide range of insurance products.
