Job summary

Axis Insurance invites an experienced Account Manager, Personal Lines, to join our team in Oakville, Ontario. You will partner with Account Executives and the BSAA Personal Insurance group to manage client files, obtain underwriting information, and negotiate terms with insurers.

You will present quotes, endorsements and renewals, ensuring accurate documentation and timely service. The role emphasizes building strong client relations, proactive communication with underwriters, and delivering

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ Personal insurance experience
• Active General Insurance Agent Level II license or equivalent with ability to obtain Ontario license
• Pursuit of CAIB, CIP, CRM or other designations considered an asset
• Post-secondary degree considered an asset
• Experience using Epic broker management system an asset

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Executive(s) and BSAA Personal Insurance team to stay informed on client file status
• Proactively obtain underwriting information from potential and renewal clients
• Negotiate terms with insurers and work with MGAs as needed
• Present quotes/renewals/endorsements to clients and bind coverage
• Maintain relationships with clients and underwriters and update Account Executives on status
• Handle routine inquiries and ensure prompt, accurate work
