Bayshore is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Caregiver to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household management.
• Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events.
• Administer personal care services following the care plan directives.
• Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living tailored to their needs.
• Perform specialized procedures with demonstrated current competency, where trained.
• Observe and document client conditions; report any changes or unusual events promptly.
• Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited caregiver training program or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; French is an asset.
• Ability to provide high-quality care with current community care practices.
• Physical ability to assist with movement, lift up to 23 kg, squat, bend, stand, and reach.
• Reliable transportation; driver's license and vehicle are assets.
• Ability to pass a clear Criminal background and Vulnerable Sector Check.
