Job summary

BMO Financial Group in Selkirk, Manitoba, is seeking a customer-focused Banking Advisor to help clients choose everyday banking, lending, and investment solutions. You will assess needs, recommend tailored options, and guide customers through digital services while delivering an outstanding experience.

Working within a collaborative branch team, you will engage with new and existing clients, schedule appointments, and ensure compliance with lending policies.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Canada only: Registration to sell investment products completed - as appropriate for the jurisdiction.
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
• Experience in financial services is an asset.
• Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
• Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role, with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
