Job summary

Ontario Health atHome in Windsor is seeking a Patient Services Assistant to support Care Coordinators and ensure prompt, respectful patient service in a busy environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, data-entry accuracy, and the ability to manage high volumes of patient information and phone inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and teamwork.

  • 2+years’ related office experience.
  • Accurate keyboarding/data-entry skills.
  • Proficient with database software, MS Word and Excel, and other applications in a Windows environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced multi-tasking skills, with the ability to meet performance and service goals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team and interact tactfully and sensitively with patients from wide-ranging backgrounds.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong listening skills.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that includes days, evenings and weekends to meet organizational needs.
  • Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.

Responsibilities

What will you do?
