Job summary

Sienna Senior Living in Surrey, BC is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper for Brookside Lodge Community. You will maintain a safe, clean environment for residents, respecting privacy and dignity in daily duties.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting rooms and common areas, and supporting the home’s culture of care. Must have prior housekeeping experience and be eligible to work in Canada; Vulnerable Sector Check required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is required.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Willing to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
• Sienna Senior Living may use AI to screen applicants.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks to maintain a safe, clean resident environment.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, shampoo carpets, and spot-clean walls/windows/doors.
• Disinfect resident rooms and common areas per schedule and procedures.
• Ensure rooms are welcoming and tour-ready for new and current occupants.
• Contribute to a caring home culture and teamwork.

• Ability to complete a wide range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
• Skilled in cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and common areas according to assigned schedules and procedures
• Attention to detail when preparing rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready at all times

What you need to know:

• Previous housekeeping experience is required
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
• You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
• Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this position

Wage Leveling rate of pay $25.82 per hour until such time that wage leveling ends, then the pay rate will reflect the collective agreement pay rates
