Job summary

Randstad Canada in Oakville, Ontario is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a permanent afternoon shift in a modern household and personal care products facility. You will operate counterbalance forklifts to move materials and support production lines while maintaining safety and efficiency on the plant floor.

This full-time role offers a stable schedule (afternoon shift) with a probation period during which starting pay is $21/hr rising to $22/hr, plus benefits after probation to

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification (Counterbalance) from an accredited provider.
• 1–2 years of counterbalance forklift experience in manufacturing/logistics.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-moving industrial environment.
• Ability to use RF scanning technology and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts to load, unload, stack and move materials.
• Transport packaging materials and finished goods between storage and production lines.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and report faults promptly.
• Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to track movements and verify docs.
• Assist loading/unloading trailers at the loading dock and maintain GMP standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
