Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to join our Oshawa warehouse team. You will operate material handling equipment, manage inventory in SAP, and ensure proper staging of dairy products for dispatch across Canada.

The role requires a valid forklift certification or hands-on experience, ability to lift up to 20 kg, and strong commitment to GMP, WHMIS, and OHSA safety guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site position with a stable, permanent employment path.

Qualifications

Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 20 kg over a 10-hour shift.
Valid Forklift Certification or hands-on forklift experience.
Strong communication and problem-solving on the shop floor.
Knowledge of GMP, WHMIS and OHSA safety standards.

Responsibilities

Safely operate material handling equipment and track inventory using SAP in real-time.
Set up and maintain wash-downs on palletizing equipment to ensure efficiency.
Transport inventory to designated plant areas, directing items to cold storage or processing zones.
Inspect skids and prevent damage while upholding quality-control standards.
Assist at production and assembly stations as needed to support operations.
Adhere to OHSA, WHMIS, GMP and food safety guidelines at all times.
